Build your surgical career your way
Certificate in hand, or working towards one? Either way, if orthopaedics is where you want to spend your theatre time, we’ll give you the caseload, the kit and the backing to make it happen. All without asking you to trade away the rest of your life to do it.
This is a part-time role at our Sevenoaks hospital, built around you. Fully supported means exactly that: our team doesn’t flinch at TPLOs, THRs or spinal surgery. We have a referral team on site but can still provide a genuine surgical caseload for cert holders, and colleagues who want you to get better, not just get through the list.
A hospital that backs the theatre
As a hospital site, Sevenoaks gives you the diagnostics, hospitalisation and nursing support to run orthopaedic cases properly from work-up to recovery. We have advanced imaging (and in-house interpretation) on hand and a team used to keeping patients in for the care they need. You’ll have the setup to take on the surgery you actually want to do.
Who we’re after
Salary: £75-85k FTE DOE
CPD: unlimited (with approval), certificate support
Leave: 6.6 weeks a year including Bank Holidays
Fees: RCVS and VDS covered
Rota: 2-day week
Out-of-hours: up to 1 in 3 Saturday mornings and no overnight OOH
State-of-art hospital with CT, MRI and three dedicated theatres
Why us, plainly
We’re independent, so we can build a role around a good surgeon rather than a spreadsheet. No targets on your operating, no pressure to churn the list, just drive to get better as a team every day. If that’s the career you’ve been after, let’s talk.
Apply with your CV, or just message us for an honest, no-pressure chat first.
