Duties
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations while ensuring high-quality imaging results.
Work collaboratively with medical providers and clinical staff to support patient diagnosis and care plans.
Maintain strict aseptic technique and follow all infection-control standards.
Review and document patient information and clearly explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, performing routine checks and troubleshooting when necessary.
Follow all radiation safety protocols and regulatory requirements for patient and staff protection.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with imaging best practices and technological developments.
Requirements
Certification as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program.
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and radiologic principles.
Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, nuclear medicine, sonography, or similar clinical environments is preferred.
Familiarity with advanced modalities such as mammography is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
