Administrative Assistant II

This person will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to provide daily administrative and customer service support to include order entry, contract reviews, clerical support, and other basic tasks to support the team and ensure the smooth flow of work. Responsibilities:
- Perform data and order entry. Track jobs from order entry to completion. Provide related control, follow-up and trouble-shooting.
- Use computer to log ordering and receiving and to retrieve and enter data.
- Perform contract reviews.
- Assist in coordinating the proper flow of work and ensure that all necessary paperwork accompanies each job (order entry, work orders, blueprints, shipping data, etc.)
- Perform a variety of clerical duties such as typing, copying & compiling data, maintaining & filing records and reports, and handling paperwork.
- Assist with basic tasks where requested and perform other related support duties such as shipping, inspecting, entering orders, inventory counts, etc…
- Prepare, issue, and send out packaging slips, mail, invoices, bills, receipts, etc…related to business activities.
- Prepare and submit shipments to shipping department.
- May prepare and submit purchase orders for suppliers.
- Assist with inventory management and control
Knowledge and Skills:

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-4 years prior administrative experience in a manufacturing setting strongly preferred
- Associate degree in business administration, office management or related field a plus
