What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock Worker/Laborer position at Penn Turf?
Full-time position, Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm. Very physical job, unloading 53' trailers and 26' box trucks with tires to be recycled or disposed of. Experience with various machinery, such as Bobcat, frontend loader, yard jockey, fork lift, is a plus. Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds consistently through the day, have endurance, be willing to learn and take direction, be able to work outside in all weather conditions (heat, sleet, cold, wind, rain, snow, etc.), have the ability to work with others and/or independently, and not be afraid to get dirty. **Must have own, reliable transportation to and from the job site.** Employees receive 2 paid, 15-minute breaks per day (at 10am & 3pm), and a one hour, unpaid, no-duty lunch (12pm to 1pm).
