Duties

• Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently while adhering to quality standards and food safety guidelines
• Operate POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions
• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and providing prompt assistance
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with health regulations
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Manage cash register operations accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service within quick service or fast food restaurants preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience working in a café, retail grocery store, or similar food industry setting is a plus
• Ability to manage time efficiently while multitasking during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations are essential
• Basic Reading comprehension skills.

Pay: $10.50 - $14.00 per hour
