Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and swiftly
• Manage customer transactions with cash handling, credit card processing, and retail sales operations
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace throughout your shift
• Serve customers with enthusiasm, ensuring their orders are correct and delivered promptly
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation tasks
• Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
• Support team members in delivering excellent customer service in a quick-service or fast-food environment

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant settings is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
• Familiarity with food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices is advantageous
• Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining quality standards
• Basic math skills for cash register operations, processing transactions, and giving accurate change
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Kitchen or café experience that involves food handling, serving, or operating kitchen equipment will be highly regarded
