Graduate of from an accredited school of Surgical Technology required.
Knowledge and technical skills to operate, set up and maintain equipment in the care unit required.
M inimum three months of on-the-job experience to become familiar with all job duties required.
B Asic Computer Skills Required.
K NOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills.
D emonstrates willingness to work in a team environment.
D emonstrates leadership abilities.
D emonstrates flexibility in response to unexpected changes in workload, staffing and scheduling.
P REFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
M Inimum Three Years Previous Operating Experience Preferred.
B LS certification preferred. Required within 60 days of employment

- $7,500 SIGN-ON BONUS*** J OB SUMMARY: The Surgical Tech - Operating Room is responsible for providing care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs, with respect for the beliefs and values of co-workers, patients and their families. Functions in the spirit of teamwork and is accountable for the delivery of care utilizing those skills learned in both the clinical and didactic arena. Assists surgeon with procedures related to the care of patient of all ages during surgical intervention.
