SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Penn State Health Medical Group Nyes Rd – Suite C is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team! This office hosts a variety of specialties, including Nephrology, Endocrinology, Neurosurgery, Dermatology, GI, Colorectal, Hepatology, Urology, Audiology, and ENT. The office also oversees Women’s Health (OB/GYN) and Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM).
The hired LPN will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals, medication reconciliation, and refills, as well as assisting with bedside procedures. The LPN will also be monitoring and responding to patient inquiries in the e-message pool and handling phone calls. This clinic does see an average of 180 patients per day, so the chosen LPN will need to be acclimated to a fast-paced office.
Suite C is seeking an LPN who is a strong communicator and works well as part of a team. Working flexibly with a positive attitude is a great plus! This office enjoys hosting food trucks on a weekly/monthly basis, so food enthusiasts who meet our minimum qualifications are welcome to apply!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
