Join Penn Paws Pick-Up as a part-time driver and become an important part of a growing pet care community in Harrisburg. In this role, you’ll help transport dogs safely to and from daycare, creating a smooth and positive experience for both pets and their owners.
This is a consistent, part-time position with short morning and afternoon routes, ideal for someone who loves dogs and enjoys a structured, active routine.
Pay
- $250/week (W-2 position)
- Paid weekly
Schedule
- Morning: approx. 7:00–9:00 AM
- Afternoon: approx. 4:00–6:00 PM
- Monday–Friday
- Part-time (approx. 4 hours/day)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle to pick up and drop off dogs
- Ensure the safety and comfort of dogs during transport (no crates, dogs are secured)
- Follow a consistent daily route and stay on schedule
- Communicate clearly with pet owners and the Penn Paws team
- Assist with loading and unloading dogs with care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old (insurance requirement)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a larger vehicle (van)
- Confident handling multiple dogs of different sizes and temperaments
- Reliable, punctual, and communicative
Preferred (not required)
- Experience with dogs (walking, sitting, daycare, etc.)
- Previous driving, delivery, or customer service experience
