Position Summary

Students are placed throughout the academic year to provide support across various departments within the hospital. Selected candidates will be matched with departments based on identified needs for the school year (September through June).

Candidates are required to attend an orientation at the start of their assignment and commit to working with their assigned department for the duration of the placement.

Essential Functions

Qualified individuals must be able to perform the following duties, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Support assigned departments by assisting with tasks delegated by team members
• Demonstrate the values and “Every Time Behaviors” of Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine
• Contribute to a positive and professional work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Currently enrolled in high school
