Location: 150 Monument Blvd
Hours: In office, M-F, 8am-4:30pm
The Community Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations at Penn Medicine Administrative facilities at 150 Monument Rd in Bala, 3535 Market St in Philadelphia or other locations as assigned. The incumbent will be organized and efficient with excellent communication skills, an attention to detail and positive attitude.
Accountabilities
- Greets guests and visitors and providing direction
- Trains users on and monitoring the room scheduling system, ensuring setup before scheduled events and providing basic A/V support when needed and troubleshoot discrepancies
- Ensures adequate office supply and café inventory is maintained
- Takes pride in the cleanliness and orderliness of all spaces
- Provides operational support and collaborate with IS, Facilities, EVS, Food service and other vendors as needed
- Provides Security access by interfacing with HUP Security as needed for new staff/frequent visitors
- Resolves access issues for staff assigned to the office locations
- Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization
Minimum Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- H.S. Diploma/GED (Bachelor’s is preferred) and at least 5 years of Hospitality, Customer Service or related experience is required
- Or
- Bachelor’s Degree (in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or Related field of study) with at least 3 years Hospitality, Customer Service or related experience
- Exceptional organization and communication skills
- Possess a “no task is too small” attitude
- Proven ability to partner with internal customers to drive success
- Proven ability to manage multiple demands with grace under pressure
- Experience with Office 365 and ability to learn/master new applications such as PennFor
- Have a customer service approach
- Ability to learn quickly and to flex and adapt when situations require them
