Summary:
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a clear project or product strategy aligned with the Center’s and broader organization’s mission and goals; collaborate with leadership team to develop and refine the product strategy and operations; lead strategic initiatives that drive healthcare delivery transformation, aligning with the organization’s mission and goals; guide project strategy and advise other staff and external partners to accelerate project progress and potential for impact.
Advanced Project/Product Management: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple innovation projects, from ideation to implementation; develop comprehensive project plans, track progress, and report on key milestones and deliverables; allocate resources effectively; consistently demonstrate an ability to drive projects toward measurable impact at scale; lead the creation and management of the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic goals; oversee product development activities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and successful adoption.
Advanced Stakeholder Engagement and Alignment: Align diverse stakeholders across Center and Penn Medicine on objectives and approaches to complex projects; work closely with cross-functional collaborators to develop, evaluate, and implement practical and innovative solutions; facilitate collaboration among internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, administrators, executives, patients/caregivers, and technology partners; collaborate with leadership team to develop and execute stakeholder engagement alignment strategy.
Research and Experimentation: Lead contextual research and design experiments to quickly test assumptions and validate proposed solutions; conduct market research and gather customer feedback to inform the development of new practices and models; teach others to apply methods of innovation to understand a variety of complex problem spaces, define opportunities for improvement, and lead teams to scale effective interventions.
Continuous Development and Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous development and improvement of our team, methods, interactions, and project selection and execution; lead efforts to improve team culture, operations, and/or performance based on identified areas for improvement; lead efforts to define, develop, evaluate, and implement new workflows and operating models that improve team operations; lead programmatic initiatives that enhance team impact.
Performance and Evaluation: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of projects/products; evaluate the clinical and financial outcomes of projects/products to derive key learnings; regularly report progress to senior leadership and provide insights for continuous improvement and strategy development.
Expertise Development and Mentorship: Consistently demonstrate mastery in a primary discipline/methodology and a working knowledge and skilled application of other essential domains; be sought after as a mentor and collaborator within the organization, leveraging multidisciplinary expertise to drive innovation and enhance team performance.

Summary:
- The Senior Transformation Manager at the Center for Health Care Transformation and Innovation (CHTI) is responsible for designing and executing projects through the entirety of the project life cycle. The Senior Innovation Manager plays a key leadership role spearheading high-impact innovation initiatives and leading cross-functional teams to drive the transformation of health care delivery.
