• Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a per diem RN (Registered Nurse) to work the day shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH)’ outpatient ECT suite.
• Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is a brain stimulation therapy. It uses a mild electrical current to produce a brief seizure. Electrical stimulation causes chemical changes in the part of your brain that regulates mood and emotion.
• If you are a compassionate nurse with Age-Specific Knowledge & Skills who possesses the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to meet patients’ physical, psychological and social needs when caring for a population of adults (18– 65 ) with a teamwork approach - you will really enjoy working in Princeton House ECT Suite.
  
  

Location:Princeton House Behavioral Health Outpatient ECT (1000 Herrontown Road, Princeton, NJ).

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• The per diem registered nurse works closely with the interprofessional health care team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum.
• The nurse focuses on expanding the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age-appropriate considerations of assigned patients.
  
  

Scheduling Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 shifts per month 7am-2pm. (The per diem RN may leave earlier once their assignment is completed).
• Additionally, you must work one shift either before or after a holiday.
• No weekends required.
  
  

What We Require for this Role:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required, or in pursuit of
  
  

Related Work Experience

• 3-5 years of PACU/OR, critical care & psychiatric experience required.
  
  

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Active RN NJ license required.

Salary Range:

$49.96 - $68.99/Hourly
