Position Description
LGHP Geriatrics is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to join their nationally recognized team. The Geriatrics team, consisting of 40 physicians and nurse practitioners, provides high quality care to the frail geriatric population in a variety of service areas including the outpatient office, nursing home, hospital consult service, and home care. Our team focuses on providing the geriatric population of Lancaster County, PA with the highest standard of care tailored to meet individual patient needs. Outpatient scope of practice would include acute visits, management of chronic illness, and development of a patient panel.
Hours: Part-time position, 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week); Tuesday-Friday (8am-5pm). Minimum on-call rotation (1-2 times/month from 5pm-10pm). Very light holiday weekday on-call rotation (8am-4pm); approximately 1 holiday on-call every 3 years.

Position Requirements
Nurse Practitioner
- Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania
- Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required (Adult NP, AGPCNP preferred; FNP acceptable).
- Minimum one-year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is highly preferred
