Summary
We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Cafeteria Associate to support daily food service operations and catered events. In this role, you will help prepare and serve food and beverages, assist customers, and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
Location: Lancaster General Hospital, 555 Duke St, Lancaster, PA 17602
Responsibilities
- Prepare and store food and beverage items according to established guidelines
- Accurately portion and present food in an appealing manner
- Maintain well-stocked and organized self-serve stations
- Assist with catered events, including tracking items distributed and returned
- Operate the cash register as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of cafeteria and dining areas, including equipment
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming experience for all customers
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- At least 1 year of experience in the food service industry
- At least 1 year of experience operating a cash register
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Variable shifts between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM
- Includes every other weekend
- Includes every other holiday
