Job Description
V. QUALIFICATIONS :
- PURPOSE OF JOB :
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Provides safe and efficient direct patient care with consideration for age-specific accommodations.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and health care team members in order to achieve excellence in patient care.
- Promotes patient safety through adherence to protocols, policies, procedures, evidence-based guidelines and Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals.
- Actively participates in and supports departmental and organizational quality initiatives and goals.
- Maintains clinical competency according to unit-specific standards.
V. QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education:
- High school or GED completion
- Certified Nursing Assistant documentation for Certified PCT position. Must maintain current Pennsylvania license.
- Hospital experience preferred
- Phlebotomy and ECG experience preferred
- Certified in B.L.S. for health care providers
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
