What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rig Moving - Swamper, Rigger, Loader Operator - 40 Hour Guarantee! position at Penn Mechanical Group, Inc.?
Penn Mechanical Group, Inc is now seeking candidates for loader operator, swamper, and rigger to assist in all aspects of the rig moving process.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for relocation of rig to include rigging down and rig up operation.
- Assist in spotting/signaling heavy equipment while working on location.
- Assist in chaining/unchaining loads on heavy haul trucks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Rig moving experience preferred.
- Must be able and willing to work in adverse weather conditions, shift work, nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when necessary
- Must possess the ability to work well with others
- Must be able to stay out of town
- Must be able to be clean shaven upon customer requirements
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Must be willing to work outdoors and occasionally in adverse weather conditions.
- Must be willing to work weekends when required.
- Must be willing to work out of town in Western PA, Eastern OH, and Northern WV, when required.
- Must be willing to work overtime.
- Must be willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Must be willing to participate in safety training and meetings.
- Must be willing to work as part of a team.
- Possess ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Possess ability to carry objects up to 50 lbs.
- Possess ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Possess adequate close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception.
- Possess ability to interpret operator's manuals.
