What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor, Wound Care position at Penn Highlands Healthcare?
AS A REGISTERED NURSE (RN) SUPERVISOR, WOUND CARE, you’ll be responsible for delivering care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacting with patients, significant others, and other health care team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
***$20,000 Sign-On/Retention Bonus for Qualified Candidates***
SCHEDULE:Monday through Friday. No weekends. No holidays.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or Temporary Practice Permit
- Two years Registered Nurse experience in patient care setting required
- Have Healthcare Provider CPR within 6 months of start date in the position
- Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse certification preferred
- Have ability to pass Criminal Background Check
- Have or the ability to obtain a Specialty Nursing Certificate within 3 years of hire date, Required
