What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN), Hospice position at Penn Highlands Healthcare?
AS A HOSPICE REGISTERED NURSE (RN): you will experience a rewarding career by providing in-home nursing services for our hospice patients through delivering care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. You'll effectively interact with patients, significant others, and our health care team members while maintaining standards of professional care.

Fleet vehicle (2026 Subaru Crosstrek) available for full time eligible employees after orientation and vehicle application procedure

- Fleet Vehicles are permitted to be used for work AND personal use

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a current Pennsylvania RN License or Temporary Practice Permit
- Have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Have current automobile coverage
- Have 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, required
- Have previous hospice or home health experience, preferred
- Have Healthcare Provider CPR
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong teaching skills
- Have ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Have availability to participate in department call schedule
