What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Surgical Unit (WOW III) position at Penn Highlands Healthcare?
AS A REGISTERED NURSE (RN), ACUTE SURGICAL UNIT (WOW OPTION 3), you’ll be responsible for delivering care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacting with patients, significant others, and other health care team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
***$30,000 SIGN-ON/RETENTION BONUS AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES***
Shifts: As a WOW Option 3 RN, you will work 3 of 4 weekends per month. During the 4th week, you will work 3 shifts during the week.
Other information:
- Have a current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or Temporary Practice Permit
- Healthcare Provider CPR must be obtained within 6 months of start date in position
- ACLS and Crisis Management certifications must be obtained within 12 months of start date in position
- Have ability to pass Criminal Background Check
