What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Admissions Coordinator position at Penn Highlands Healthcare?
The Psychiatric Admissions Coordinator facilitates incoming referrals from outside agencies into Penn Highlands DuBois' Inpatient Behavioral Health Units along with facilitation of tele-face to face assessments from Clearfield, Elk, and Brookville emergency departments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field or bachelors degree plus two years behavioral health experience required
- Previous behavioral health experience preferred
- Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification within 6 months
- Comprehensive crisis management certification within 12 months of start date in department/position
