What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthopedic Navigator (RN) - 15667 position at Penn Highlands Healthcare?
The NAVIGATOR in collaboration with other PHH services provides and coordinates all aspects of treatment, evaluation, support services and education for patients receiving service within the Orthpedic department. Provides clinical functions in support of orthopedic physicians. Participates in maintaining a safe, cost-effective patient care environment.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania required
- Understanding of payor quality guidelines, MIPS initiatives and pay for performance programs preferred
- At least 2 years experience in physician practice setting required
- Healthcare Provider CPR required
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Knowledge in regulatory requirements of third party payors such has Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Shield
