What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Supervisor (RN) position at Penn Highlands Healthcare?
AS THE NURSING SUPERVISOR (RN),you'll be responsible to execute direct administration of the Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Department and Senior Transitions Unit as evidenced by achieving results in clinical quality, service excellence, human resources management and financial management. This role assists in developing and implementing a strategic plan for the growth and development of the services they are responsible for.
SHIFT: Varied shifts, every other weekend & holidays as needed
***$20,000 SIGN-ON/RETENTION BONUS AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED CANDIDATES***
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have current Pennsylvania RN license or temporary practice permit
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in an acute care setting
- Must have progressive and successful work history
- Current CPR required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Must have effective communication/collaboration skills with physicians and other members of the health care team
- Specialty certification, preferred
