AS A DELIVERY TECHNICIAN, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe delivery of home medical products, providing set up, and educating customers in usage of home medical equipment. Clean,disinfect, and functionally checks medical equipment to ensure in compliance with recommended standards.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of current Home Medical products and services offered by the company
- Utilize company vehicles safely and according to company policies while following state and federal laws
- Manage territory to reach service goals to maximize efficiency and productivity for the day
- Educate customers in set up, safety, proper usage and care for equipment
- Coordinates and completes paperwork, payment, and follow up visits with the customer
- Reform routine preventative maintenance, simple repairs, and troubleshoot equipment as needed and in accordance with company policies
- Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assist in cleaning and disinfecting of dirty equipment
- Work with other team members and other departments as needed in special circumstances; be flexible as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required
- Must possess a valid, current, and in good standing Driver’s License
- Ability to use a GPS, follow directions, and read a map
- Meets company minimum standard of Background Check
- Comply with Company Employee Manual
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and compliance.
- Comply with all company, state, and federal policies, laws and regulations, including HIPPA
- Maintain positive attitude and conduct yourself in a professional manner toward supervisor, patients, referral sources, co-workers, colleagues, subordinates, and members of the public: everyone
- Flexibility in schedule including but not limited to working days, evenings, holidays
- Availability to work when called out according to the on-call schedule and being willing to be part of the rotating on-call schedule: full time employees only
- Report to work regular and timely
