What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Maintenance Mechanic position at Penn Highlands Healthcare?
AS A GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKER, you’ll be responsible for a variety of duties in and around teh buildings of the hospital complex. Assists in completing tasks, such as repairs and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with department safety rules and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Working towards an active student vocational or technical training preferred.
- One year basic trade experience or trade school attendance preferred.
- Customer service oriented.
- Must have the capacity and desire to develop additional skills.
- Must have good communication skills and be willing to inform appropriate manager of potential problems that may arise.
- Valid PA Drivers License required.
