What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Coordinator (RN), Urology position at Penn Highlands Healthcare?
THE CLINICAL COORDINATOR, IN SUPPORT OF THE PHYSICIAN OR ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER, WILL ASSIST IN THE DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION OF PATIENT CARE IN THE OFFICE. THEY WILL BE REQUIRED TO COORDINATE THE CARE WITH OTHER PHD SERVICES, OR OUTSIDE HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS. THE CLINICAL COORDINATOR II WILL SERVE AS A LIAISON BETWEEN THE PHYSICIAN, THE ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER AND ALL OTHER HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS. HE/SHE WILL ALSO ASSIST IN COORDINATION OF CLINICAL SCHEDULES.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current RN Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
- Two years experience in an office setting and familiarity with microsoft office preferred
- CPR Certification from the American Heart Association within the first year of hire required
- Knowledge in regulatory requirements of third party payors as Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Shield preferred
