Full Job Description
Department: Public Safety
FSLA Classification: Non-Exempt
Available Shifts:
Tuesday - Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm.
Friday - Monday 2:00pm-10:00pm.
Starting Pay:
- $17.50 Unarmed
- $19.50 Armed Active 235
- Active EMR/EMT/A-EMT/Paramedic with a valid certification will receive a $2 difference in pay either armed or unarmed.
Primary Duties:
- Hybrid Department of both armed and unarmed Officers.
- Enforces community rules and regulations.
- Conducts mobile and foot patrols.
- Conducts amenity checks throughout shift.
- Issues citations when needed.
- Responds to calls for service.
- Generates incident reports for all calls for service.
- Works closely with law enforcement, fire and EMS.
- Takes complaints from within the community.
- Inputs guest and contractor information.
- Provides directions to guest and contractors as necessary.
- Assists with traffic control at gates when needed.
- Performs all other duties as directed.
Requirements:
- PA ACT 235 required for armed officers .
- Prior Public Safety Officer experience preferred.
- Ability to deal professionally with the public.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must possess good decision-making skills and a high level of patience.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Must possess valid driver’s license.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge necessary.
- Must possess reliable transportation.
- Possess flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Overtime is required as needed.
