What are the responsibilities and job description for the Repair Welder position at Penn Equipment?
General responsibilities include
- Making mechanical and welding repairs to heavy equipment
- Welding of wear components on trailers, truck beds, dragline components, loader buckets, blades, etc.
- Rebuilding mechanic components (pumps, gearboxes, final drives, valves, etc.)
- Working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Build hydraulic and pneumatic hoses (training supplied)
- Working with supervisors and other employees in a positive manner
- Willingness to get dirty and learn
Must have adequate experience in
- Stick, mig and flux core welding, air arcing and oxyacetlyne torch cutting
- Heavy plate welding
- Working on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems on heavy equipment
- Using power tools and come alongs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
