Penn E&R is seeking a full-time Senior Civil Engineer /Assistant Engineering Manager. While you will be based our of our Pittsburgh, PA office, we offer hybrid/work-from-home opportunities. You will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of tasks across all of Penn E&R’s market sectors and be expected to perform both office-based and field-based assignments. Qualifications include: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field Professional Engineer license 10 to 15 years of civil engineering experience Work experience in the following is required: Hydrology and hydraulics Erosion and sediment controls Stormwater management controls Land Development AutoCAD Civil 3D Applicable work experience for this role includes: Provide technical guidance for the preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans Hydrology and hydraulic and drainage calculations Erosion and sediment control design Stormwater management calculations Post-Construction Stormwater Management BMP design AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following: Creating 3-D surfaces Grading plans Profiles/cross-sections Pipe networks and corridors Working with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals We know that great work happens when people feel supported both on and off the job.
