Penn E&R is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer (mid-level). While you will be based out of our Doylestown, PA office, we offer hybrid/work-from-home opportunities. You will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of tasks across all of Penn E&R’s market sectors and be expected to perform both office-based and field-based assignments. Qualifications include: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 1 year preferred 4 to 7 years of civil engineering experience Work experience in the following is a plus: Hydrology and hydraulics Erosion and sediment controls Stormwater management controls Land Development/Site Design AutoCAD Civil 3D Applicable work experience for this role includes: Provide technical guidance for the preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans Environmental Permitting (PA Chapter 102, 105) Hydrologic and hydraulic calculations Erosion and sediment control design Stormwater management calculations Post-Construction Stormwater Management BMP design AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following: Creating 3-D surfaces Grading plans Profiles/cross-sections Pipe networks and corridors Working with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals Ability to work with and guide Junior staff in the successful completion of tasks We know that great work happens when people feel supported both on and off the job.
