Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. - Assist housekeeping attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens
- Deliver linens and other supplies to housekeeping attendants
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas
- Respond to guests' requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies in a timely and efficient manner
- Clean other designated areas such as public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and other public areas as assigned
- Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping
- May collect newspaper and other items for recycling
- Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures
- Comply with all health and safety standards
- Attend regular meetings as scheduled
- Other job-related duties as assigned
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing in English
- Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints
- Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues
- Ability to learn specific job duties and complete work assignments
- Maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques
- Ability to follow direction/instruction
- Possess pleasant demeanor when interacting with team members and guests
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum six (6) months experience housekeeping environmental services area preferred
