We are seeking a Civil CAD Designer to work out of our Mansfield, PA office. We offer a hybrid work environment.
You will have the opportunity to perform a variety of design and drafting assignments and associated tasks to support the needs of Land Development, Civil Engineering Design, and Environmental Permitting projects. With your strong client service attitude, you will produce high quality deliverables in an efficient manner and demonstrate a persistent initiative to continually learn new technical practices and to earn the confidence of clientele, company management/colleagues and regulators.
Qualifications include:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in drafting and design is preferred but not required
- Approximately 5-10 years of site/civil engineering design with related AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D (standard drafting techniques, terminology and applications)
- Proficiency with developing 3D surfaces, alignments, plan/profile drawings, application of road templates, and developing cut/fill quantities.
- Land Development and GIS experience preferred
- Mining, energy, and oil & gas project experience is a plus
- Survey/field experience is a plus (download and import survey points into CAD and prepare base mapping, export survey data to instruments as a field package)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
- Solid skills in planning and scheduling, organization, problem solving and decision-making
