Job Description We are seeking a skilled fabricator and welder to join our team. This position will support safety, quality, production, 5s, new equipment installation, and various other activities. There will be a wide range of opportunities to show craftsmanship and skill. Essential duties and responsibilities · Fabricate moderately complex parts and equipment · Weld and build tables, guarding, brackets, and various other support equipment · Must be able to read and create mechanical drawings as needed · Use calipers and other precision measuring equipment · Self-motivated to get assigned work completed · Must be willing to modify or replace previous work performed · Must be willing to install or reinstall finished work · Will need to maintain inventory of materials needed to perform any given task · Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities · Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment. · Follow all safety policies and procedures, utilize all PPE. · Ability to weld both steel and aluminum · Willingness to work weekends as necessary Experience · Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding preferred · Must have at least 2 plus years of welding experience · Must have experience using conventional machining equipment · Ability to do maintenance on shop equipment · Experience welding aluminum a plus · Experience with electrical and electrical controls a plus · Will need to pass a welding test · Very rarely will need to be able to work in confined spaces Pay Range: 20.00 - 30.00 We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and more!
