What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plastic's molder position at Penmac Staffing?
Penmac Staffing has teamed up with a local plastic-molding/thermoforming company in the Hoyt Lakes area in search of Production Operators and Production Finishers to add to their team! These are first-shift positions, from 7am-3pm. Pay ranges from $18-$20/hour and depends upon experience and skill level.
PRODUCTION OPERATOR DESCRIPTION:
The Production Operator will work independently or with other production team members to ensure completion of production requirements such as: loading and unloading molds, operating rotational and vac form machines and related equipment, and conducting secondary operations to the molded components.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct and inspect tool/mold changes
*
Operate overhead hoists, routers, torches for flaming, pallet jack, impact wrenches, drills and other power tools
*
Able to operate Rotomolding machine
*
Ensure paperwork/procedures are being followed
*
Support continuous improvement initiatives
*
Promote a positive and productive working environment
*
Be flexible to support various operations within the department
*
Keep work areas clean and organized
*
Other duties as assigned

The Production Finisher will work independently or with other production personnel to ensure the completion of production requirements. This will be accomplished by cutting, assembling, and testing components, and assemblies as required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Leak testing of tanks and assemblies
*
Inspections of assembled components
*
Conduct secondary operations such as routing, drilling, deburring, and flaming
*
Assure paperwork/procedures are being followed
*
Keep work areas clean and organized
*
Promote a positive and productive working environment
*
Be flexible to support various operations within the department
*
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Experienced with assembly processes and equipment
*
Experienced in the use of assembly tools and fixtures
*
Good organizational skills, self-motivated, flexible, and able to prioritize, attention to detail and willingness to learn
*
Physical ability to handle heavy parts and materials
*
Ability to work well independently or with a team
*
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
*
Being dependable, reliable, and motivated
*

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
