Utility Worker

Penmac Staffing is now hiring a Utility Worker for a local Optics Company in Quapaw, OK. The candidate will be responsible for a variety of different tasks and must be a team player. This role is essential for the style and functional quality of the facilities and equipment.

Duties

• Painting and surface preparation
• Paint interior and exterior walls, tanks, equipment, and parking lots
• Ensure all surfaces are properly prepped and primed before painting
• Perform daily trash dumping from offices, breakrooms, and bathrooms
• Clean windows and other glass surfaces
• Strip and wax floors as needed
• Operate floor machines and buffers
• Ensure all areas are clean, sanitary, and presentable
• Assist with other maintenance and janitorial duties as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  
  

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in surface preparation, painting and janitorial services
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to quality and detail
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials
