Penmac Education Staffing is now hiring Substitutes Teachers for the McDonald County School District. Substitute teachers play a vital role in providing quality education to our children. Responsibilities

• Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions, and maintain a positive learning environment
• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning environment for students
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground and in the cafeteria
• Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student
• Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plan
  
  

Requirements

• Obtain a Missouri Teaching License of Substitute Certificate
• Have at least 36 college credit hoors (in any subject) OR complete an online training program designated by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
• Complete required training provided by Penmac
• Complete a fingerprint /background check (You must contact Penmac before completing this step)
