Machine Operator

Penmac Staffing is now hiring a Machine Operator for a local Optics company in Quapaw, OK. The ideal candidate must be able to train on the day shift and then move to the second or third shift. This will be a full-time position. The hours will vary depending on the shift. The payrate will start at $17 per hour.

Duties

• Measure key dimensions using varying measurement instruments to ensure parts are in spec
• Set up, operate, monitor, measure and troubleshoot various manufacturing machines such as Single Point Turning CNC, Lens Molding, Slicing, Disc Polisher, etc.
• Make equipment adjustments as needed
• Enter product related information into computer software system
• Inspect final product to ensure quality
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with using and calibrating measurement instruments
• Knowledge of calipers and micrometers
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Must have hand/finger dexterity to handle small fragile parts
• CNC experience is a plus
• Must submit to a background check and drug screen
