What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre Shop Technician position at Penkhus Motor Company?
Penkhus Motor Company is a solid family-owned and operated multi-store dealer located in Colorado Springs, CO. Currently we are in need of a Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician to do light reconditioning on vehicles on small to medium dents on exterior of vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory appearance and performance by cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
- Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.
- Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
- Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle?s condition.
- Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations or picking owners or drivers up if needed.
- Managing inventory and reordering supplies.
- Responding to client inquiries and fulfilling their requests.
- Utilizing specific surface preparation, the latest spray equipment and proven painting techniques you will inspect, prepare, blend and finish vehicle surfaces from simple touch-ups to repairing paint damage.
