Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Activity Leader based in Menlo Park, CA. The Activity Leader will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing a diverse range of engaging activities and programs for seniors. Daily tasks may include organizing social, recreational, and educational events, facilitating group activities, assisting participants during programs, and fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere. The Activity Leader will work collaboratively with other staff to ensure programs meet the needs and interests of participants while promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Qualifications
- Dementia care experience preferred
- Program coordination and planning skills, including the ability to design and execute engaging activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and interact effectively with progra. participants and staff
- Ability to motivate participants and encourage active engagement
- Basic administrative and organizational skills, including maintaining program schedules and records
- Experience in recreational therapy, community engagement, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of senior health and wellness principles is a plus
- Flexibility, patience, and creativity in handling diverse participant needs
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it
