What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Cremation Assistant position at Peninsula Veterinary Assoc LTD?
Ø Temporary position available for a Pet Cremation Assistant Monday through Friday 8am-4pm from April 28th through July 31st. Responsibilities include hospital pickup and return of cremains to area hospitals. Maintaining paperwork and logs of crematory operational procedures. Sorting and delivering of crematory paperwork to include brochures, tags, and order forms.
Labeling and assembling urns. Inspecting and stocking urns. Cleaning and maintenance of crematorium area to include: sweeping, and mopping of floor, through cleaning of work vehicle inside of cab and out, and cleaning the freezers. Maintaining vehicle logs (fuel and oil) and inspection paperwork.
Janitorial duties for the Peninsula Animal Referral Center building to include: sweeping of entire building, light mopping if needed, vacuuming, cleaning front glass doors, taking out building trash, stocking bathrooms, cleaning of all common areas, changing light bulbs, etc. Laundry upkeep. Trash and fecal removal from grounds. Use of a ladder.
Proof of driving record required.
