Job Description:
Peninsula Urgent Care is seeking a combo X-ray Technologist Medical Assistant (XTMA) to join our team. Our urgent care facility thrives on providing high-quality, compassionate care to our community, and we need an individual who shares our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- X-ray Services: Perform high-quality radiographic imaging with attention to safety and accuracy, following all relevant protocols and standards.
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive experience throughout their visit, providing clear instructions and answering any questions they may have.
- Medical Assistance: Support healthcare providers by performing clinical duties such as taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, and administering basic patient care.
- Administrative Duties: Assist with front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Valid X-ray Technologist certification (ARRT or equivalent) and Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in an urgent care or similar fast-paced healthcare environment is a plus. Any EMR experience.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
