Mobile Maintenance Technicians at Peninsula Truck Lines are responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and making repairs to our fleet of tractors, trailers and off-road equipment to ensure the safety of our drivers and others as they travel the roads of the Pacific Northwest. Additionally, the Mobile Maintenance Technician must be a self-starter as they work at remote terminals throughout Western WA performing scheduled service and repairs. The environment is family orientated and fast-paced.
Requirements:
- 3 years minimum experience as a diesel mechanic actively working on on-highway equipment.
- Cummins, CAT engine experience a plus
- Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
- Basic knowledge of vehicle after-treatment systems
- Basic knowledge of both air and hydraulic braking systems
- T series ASE certifications preferred
- Experience using Noregon JPro software, Cummins Insight, and other OEM diagnostic platforms required
- Must have own tools
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to obtain a CDL
