Peninsula Plastics is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team!

We are looking for a dependable professional who enjoys building customer relationships, coordinating sales activities, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for both prospective and existing customers, helping manage their needs throughout the sales and order fulfillment process. You will work closely with internal departments, including sales, design, production, and shipping, to ensure customer expectations are met and orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, a proactive problem-solver, and someone who takes pride in creating positive, long-lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Relationship Management

• Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers regarding orders, products, shipments, returns, and general inquiries.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication, professionalism, and exceptional service.

• Identify customer needs and provide timely solutions to questions, concerns, and requests.

• Meet with prospective and existing customers to discuss product requirements, expectations, and opportunities.

• Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.

• Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding order updates, product availability, and anticipated delivery timelines.

Sales & Account Coordination

• Respond to incoming sales inquiries and leads, ensuring appropriate follow-up and coordination.

• Support sales activities by identifying customer requirements and assisting with product and service inquiries.

• Prepare estimates and pricing information for customer quotes.

• Coordinate with internal sales and design teams to ensure customer specifications and expectations are clearly communicated.

• Assist with customer account activities and identify opportunities to strengthen existing business relationships.

Order Processing & Production Support

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Confirm order details and communicate relevant information to internal departments.

• Maintain and update internal documentation to ensure accurate order processing and a smooth transition to production.

• Coordinate requests for samples, materials, or other items needed to validate packaging for upcoming production runs.

• Communicate anticipated production and delivery timelines to customers.

• Monitor inventory levels and order status to help ensure timely product delivery.

• Work closely with production, shipping, and other departments to address order-related questions or concerns.

Administrative & Team Support

• Maintain accurate customer records, order information, and related documentation.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve communication, efficiency, and the overall customer experience.

• Greet and direct visitors to the appropriate personnel when needed.

• Assist with additional administrative, customer service, and sales-related responsibilities as assigned.

• Experience preparing customer estimates, quotes, or sales documentation.

• Understanding of manufacturing processes, packaging products, or related industries.

• Competitive Salary: $60,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience.
