Job Summary

Duties
- Perform laboratory techniques related to the preparation of histological specimens, including embedding, sectioning, and staining.
- Process and analyze tissue samples collected from various sources, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of specimen collection, processing, and results in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the quality and integrity of specimens for diagnostic purposes.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in phlebotomy procedures as needed, ensuring patient comfort and safety during specimen collection.
- Participate in quality control measures and contribute to research laboratory initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in laboratory techniques relevant to histology or similar fields.
- Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the clinical setting.
- Familiarity with specimen collection processing methods is highly desirable.
