Position Overview
We are looking for dedicated early childhood educators to assist Toddler and preschool-age children. This is a fantastic opportunity for new graduates seeking experience in early childhood or for semi-retired teachers looking to enjoy time in the classroom.
What You’ll Do
- Assist a beautifully prepared Montessori classroom that inspires independence, focus, and a love of learning.
- Support the lead teacher with classroom management.
- Observe, assess, and adapt to students’ needs to support their academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children and their families.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to maintain a consistent, nurturing environment.
- Maintain a calm, clean, organized, and enriching classroom in alignment with Montessori principles.
- Assist young students with routines and foster skills in independence.
What We’re Looking For
- An Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred)
- Classroom experience in a Montessori setting (preferred, but we welcome passionate new graduates)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A reflective, flexible, and collaborative spirit
- Deep respect for the individuality and potential of every child
- EEC Essentials (Must have)
