Position Overview
We are looking for dedicated and certified Montessori educators to lead classrooms at the Infant, Toddler, or Primary level. This is a wonderful opportunity for experienced guides or recent graduates of AMS or AMI programs who are excited to grow professionally in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead a beautifully prepared Montessori classroom that inspires independence, focus, and a love of learning.
- Implement individualized learning plans that honor each child's unique development.
- Observe, assess, and adapt to students' needs to support their academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children and their families.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to maintain a consistent, nurturing environment.
- Communicate with families through conferences, newsletters, and community events.
- Participate in and occasionally lead family education nights and school-wide celebrations.
- Maintain a calm, organized, and enriching classroom in alignment with Montessori principles.
What We're Looking For
- Head Teacher certificate from the EEC in early childhood
- AMI or AMS Montessori Certification (or currently enrolled in a certification program)
- A Bachelor's Degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred)
- Classroom experience in a Montessori setting (preferred, but we welcome passionate new graduates)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A reflective, flexible, and collaborative spirit
