Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor residents’ health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate care plans
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care protocols
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs, ensuring proper food handling and safety standards
• Support residents during recreational activities, social engagement, and community outings to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, and equipment through regular cleaning routines
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely to assist with mobility and prevent injury
• Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living, home health, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer’s), or memory care needs is desirable
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed for resident support
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, residents, and families
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide high-quality patient care in a respectful manner

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
