What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dentist position at Peninsula Community Health Services?
The Dentist is responsible for screening, triaging, and providing clinical and laboratory dental care and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide dental care to all age groups in accordance with State guidelines
• Provide education, diagnostic, and therapeutic dental services to patients
• Work closely with the staff and community dental care providers in providing primary dental care and making outside referrals
• Share afterhours on-call responsibility with other providers
• Familiar with using electronic health record (ex. Athena and NextGen)
• Monitor, and where applicable, oversee relevant provider and care staff to ensure delivery of care
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Active Dentist License in Washington State (required) • Active DEA License or eligible (required) • Active CPR Certification (required) • Valid driver’s license (required)Salary : $141,000
