What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dental Assistant - 1 Day Assignment 12/18/25 position at Peninsula Center of Cosmetic Dentistry?
_ **Peninsula Center of Cosmetic Dentistry is in need of a Registered Dental Assistant to cover Thursday, December 18th, 2025 from 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM**_
This is a 1 day assignment only
Qualifications: Must be a Registered Dental Assistant in the state of California.
Our dental assistants:
- assist the doctor during treatment procedures
- set up and break down operatories
- take and process x rays
- sterilize and maintain instruments
- provide patients with follow up instructions
- educate patients on oral hygiene
We are looking for someone with dental experience (preferred). Dental Assistant Certificate and X-ray Certificate required where state regulations specify.
Physical Requirements
This is a clinical working environment where potential exposure to hazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. Will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
