About the Role:
Peninsula Behavioral Health (PBH) is seeking a Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to provide psychiatric services across outpatient, community‑based, and justice‑involved settings. This position includes work funded under the Washington State Trueblood Settlement, supporting individuals involved in the criminal legal system to ensure timely access to psychiatric evaluation and medication management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, risk assessments, and treatment planning
- Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care
- Perform brief physical assessments as clinically appropriate
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, community providers, and justice system partners
- Deliver services in office, community, and custodial settings as needed
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Advanced Nursing Degree from an accredited program
- Current Washington State RN and ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority
- DEA registration for Schedule II–V medications
- Minimum two years of psychiatric treatment experience including child/adolescent prescribing
- Eligible for credentialing with hospitals and insurance panels
